
We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans for children with various physical, cognitive, and developmental conditions. Your primary goal will be to help children achieve their maximum level of function and independence in their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning to determine their occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address children's specific needs and goals, using evidence-based practice.
Provide occupational therapy services to children, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration therapy, play-based interventions, and education on lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement interventions that support children's development and participation in daily activities.
Document children's progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Educate families and caregivers on how to manage children's condition and promote their independence.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current ACOT License
2+ years of experience in a clinical setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for helping patients improve their communication abilities
Proof of liability insurance
Ability to work independently
Flexibility to work with different clients
